Marianne started her career as a secretary at various companies in the north of the country. In 1996 she moved to the Burgundian city of 's-Hertogenbosch, where she started working at various companies as an executive secretary.

In 2009 she moved to New Zealand, where she and her husband ran their own business for 10 years.

In 2024, Marianne moved back to the Netherlands. Since September 2024, Marianne has been working at LXA Lawyers as a management assistant and is part of the Government and Real Estate team.
