Marlijn studied Dutch law at the University of Utrecht and previously worked at Boekel De Nerée and Van Doorne in Amsterdam and London as part of the financing team, assisting with national and international property and project financing transactions.

Marlijn joined LXA’s Corporate/M&A team in 2018, focussing on corporate & contract law, particularly in the field of acquisitions, participations and (real estate) financing for both Dutch and domestic companies, investors, family offices and real estate developers.

Marlijn is committed, result focused, hands-on and pragmatic.

• Advising Kencom B.V. on its acquisition of Mercash B.V., a company specialised in HR- and payroll application software
• Advising the shareholder of Creative Sounds B.V. on the sale to BTI Studio
• Advising and assisting with various (internal) restructurings and transactions following an acquisition
• Advising Octro in sale of it's DC to Logicor
