Mara graduated from Radboud University in Nijmegen in May 2025 for her master's degree in Civil Law.

During her bachelor's degree in Law, she did an internship at a law firm in Arnhem and was active in a law store, where she fulfilled the role of treasurer during her master's degree. Then, in addition to writing her master's thesis, Mara worked as a working student at the Government & Real Estate section of a law firm in Arnhem.

In May 2025, she was employed as a working student while completing her studies. She has since successfully completed her studies and is working as a legal assistant at LXA Attorneys in the Government & Real Estate section.
