Joost has been part of the Employment Law team at LXA Advocaten in 's-Hertogenbosch since June 2024. Prior to joining LXA Advocaten, he worked for considerable time as an employment law specialist at another law firm in 's-Hertogenbosch, a legal consultancy in Utrecht and a large accounting firm in the Netherlands.

At LXA Advocaten, Joost advises and litigates on employment law in the broadest sense of the word. He has expertise and experience in areas including underperformance, dismissal, employment contracts, (changing) employment conditions and illness and disability. Fraud is also part of his specialty and he is part of LXA's fraud team.

In addition to his daily practice, he writes blogs and newsletters on employment law topics and gives workshops and presentations for clients and business associates. Joost has also successfully completed the Postgraduate Program in Employment Law(PALA) at the end of 2022
