Astrid graduated from Radboud University Nijmegen in 2024, where she obtained both a master's degree in Business Law and a master's degree in Civil Law.

During her bachelor Astrid participated in the honor program 'Law in Action' of the Radboud University. During her master she did an internship at a law firm in Deventer and studied one semester at LUISS University in Rome. She wrote her master's thesis on the use of the law of inquiry as a means to address sustainability abuses within companies.

Since November 2024, Astrid has been working at LXA Advocaten within the Corporate / M&A team.
